Yeah it’s treacherous ass city, and you have situations where innocent people die, but some people have the belief that the whole city is some type of war zone and you instantly gonna get shot soon as you get off the plane lol. Like i just talked to Moms this morning, and she telling me what’s been going on with her and fam the last few days. Not like she telling me I had to dodge bullets on the way to go get bread and I’m scared for my life up here lol

CHICAGO — One person was killed and seven others were injured after a shooting on the South Side early Friday morning.
Chicago police said a group of people were at a gathering on the 2500 block of West 79th Street just after midnight when two men opened fire. The conditions of those injured range from fair to critical. Ages range from 22 to 41. All of those shot were men except for one woman.
A 26-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot in the head.
A 22-year-old man was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in fair condition with a gunshot would to the knee.
A 28-year-old man was transported to an unknown hospital in serious condition after being shot in the abdomen.
A 28-year-old man was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in fair condition with gunshot wound to the leg.
A 41-year-old woman was transported to an unknown hospital in serious condition with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
A sixth person was self-transported to taken to Roseland and will be transferred to Christ with a gunshot would to the body.
A 32-year-old man was self-transported to Little Company of Mary Medical Center and will be transferred to Christ with a gunshot wound to the back.
A 27-year-old man was transported to Christ in critical condition after being shot in the head.
No one has been taken into custody and the shooting in under investigation.
Several weapons were recovered at the scene

Honestly it seems like just like with other places the total gang thing isn’t working no more and it’s just a bunch of young dudes with nothing to lose except for pride on go.
they can’t take a loss with the hands or pride wise so they just spark it out. In all honesty I’m not even sure how the dynamics are working too many individual crews I’d rather deal with singular gangs at least you can cut off the head.

Why are we suddenly calling shootings (we know to be street-related), mass shootings? OP wit the cac narrative. Miss me wit that shyt. 
No...some ngga seen his OPs, or someone he had issues w/...and started indiscriminately shooting. IMO, a mass shooting is when an individual (be it white, black, asian, etc.) walks into a store, church, business, etc...and attempts to kill everybody in sight, for no rhyme or reason. Quit tryin to put that narrative on black folks, or POC.
