The second biggest complaint the Black community has about policing after their brutality is their generally apathy towards solving crimes in our neighborhoods. Whether it’s dismissing victims as thugs who deserved their outcome or dismissing missing persons as not being worth finding.

All these c00ns tryna pretend that we don’t care when that’s not rooted in any sort of reality. The vast majority of Black folk aren’t criminals and are just tryna make it. Yet they have to deal with the dangers of what these dudes are doing to our community. Whether it’s our elders, our babies, our teens, our brothers, sisters, cousins, friends or whoever...worrying about this shyt is our reality. Ice Cube uttered the words “Either they don’t know, don’t show, or don’t care what’s going on in the hood” nearly 30 years ago!

Um... I’m not against black people getting money. I literally just said the environment needs to be relatively safe in order for commerce and business to grow in a area. This along with investment and better social programs is the core of growth in an area.
