I would agree that the reason is that the GOP is trying to embarass Obama if this started happening in right on 2009 and never let up. But it's been going on before Obama, Chicago has always been run by Democrats, and Rahm is a Democrat and Obama's CoS and help perpetuate it.
It seems that no matter who the party is that white people really don't want black folk in Chicago. They have a true disdain, if not outright hate, for black folk in Chicago. At this point, I doubt any solution is gonna come from white people there. And certainly not from D.C. It's gonna be a community or just black folk solution that ends up forcing white people (yet again) to start acting right with our people.
I know Harvey AKA MrSupuerBoi223 said that the national guard needs to come in and Black vets patrol the hood. Also, I think there needs to be revitalization in Chicago and try to bring peace between rival gangs in the area. It won't happen overnight, but it's a try. Next thing is to get rid of the corrupt law-enforcement there.

those are some real reputable sources and thorough research that you have going there.... anyone can copy and paste, you want real feedback into what's going on in that particular city then have some respect for the issues and Chicago as a city; at least put together facts and information from a compilation, instead of like I said, going for the sensationalism aspects. I have a lot of respect and admiration for Chicago AA's. It pisses me off that people act like Philly, Detroit, Oakland, Richmond, and other cities don't deal with gun violence. They blame the AA citizens of Chicago for shootings that are caused by poor living conditions, systemic racism, and PTSD. Chicago has some of the best food in the world, some of the best art in the world, it's a business hub for both coasts, a historic black city, and I've never heard anybody say they didn't like visiting Chicago.
The Chicago slander, which is low key racist, needs to stop. There are bigger problems to deal with. Gun control doesn't resolve racism and neither does victim blaming.
Nazis are making a come back, Trump is president, racism is on the rise, and people would rather eat their own children than focus on the real enemy.

Maybe you're not aware of how bad you make Chicago look when you post news about gun violence and kids being shot. You do feed the negativity around Chicago. Chicago has a lot going on, a lot of positive shyt too. Focus on the real Chicago in it's entirety and not the violence in violent neighborhoods. Like I said, Chicago has great art, food, and it's a historic US city.
