I care so much as I don’t believe it’s right to hate and harm people because of their religion. Jews have been persecuted at various parts in the past. If hamas didn’t pull that stunt, Palestinians wouldn’t be this bad off.
However, the Israeli government has fostered the conditions for Palestinian discontent by continued encroachment with settlements on Palestinian lands and the years long blockade. I know the blockade isn’t for nothing, but dam they have people basically living in an open air prison. At the same time the Jewish government wants their citizens to feel safe, this shyt is complicated.
The British government put Jews and Palestinians in a tough spot back in the day by carving up the land as they did. Palestinians have a lot of pride and didn’t accept what they were offered. They believe what they believe about the reclamation of land lost. I feel that countries like Iran take advantage of Palestinian militia groups by using them as crash test dummies because the Jews ain’t going nowhere.
