Of course the trail ref should see the carry/travel. But if he's only watching there, he's going to miss potential off-ball plays out the opportunity to get into position for the next play. If he's always focusing on the dribbler with no pressure, he'll get the carry the 1 time in 10000 plays it happens, but he'll miss a lot more in the meantime.
The other refs don't matter. There is no reason for the C and Lead officials to have their eyes up top.

I don't believe the trail official was watching LeBron. If he was, and then passed on the call, it's different and definitely some bullshyt.

contrary to many posters I do come here for knowledge of the game. So you being an official is a plus.
