I don’t like talk in terms of Ws or Ls for races in this particular case. Justice was served period. He was convicted and received a deserving sentence. If it’s an L for anyone it’s cops. fukk em.The black cop Mohamad Noor got 12.5 years for killing a white woman. He's gonna be in 1-3 years. So a white cop getting 22.5 years for killing a black man is a huge win for black people and a huge L for white people and we aren't sure he will get parole or get out early for good behavior so he could do the whole 22.5 years.
Justice was served in this case. Black people won big on this one. And George Floyd's family got $30 million while chauvin family broke as fukk
While Biden isn't who I want holding the police accountable, your claims are demonstrably false. In reality the DOJ has pushed the George Floyd Act, started three major investigations in prominent police shootings (all of which it had been avoiding under Trump), and reversed the Trump policy that limited consent decrees to reform departments. Outside of the George Floyd Act legislation, launching investigations, and implementing consent decrees, can you describe what you specifically want the Biden Administration to do?Folks thinking this shyt is a win is a problem because it shouldnt be happening in the first place. We allowing too much disrespect because we are accepting it. The struggle is entertaining to people and it shouldnt be. How many police shootings happened since the verdict? This is nothing. Joe biden hasnt done shyt to stop it. In fact, he supports this.
The administration has thrown its full weight behind the Floyd act. During his first address to a joint session of Congress last week, Biden called on lawmakers to pass police reform by the anniversary of Floyd's death.
"We have to come together to rebuild trust between law enforcement and the people they serve, to root out systemic racism in our criminal justice system and enact police reform in George Floyd's name," Biden said. "Let's get it done next month, by the first anniversary of George Floyd's death."
"Biden's Justice Department appointees have already begun making changes.
Under Attorney General Merrick Garland, the DOJ launched an investigation into the operations of the Minneapolis police department a day after Chauvin's conviction. Garland also overturned a Trump-era policy limiting consent decrees that can help reform local police departments.
Last week, Justice Department officials announced a wide-ranging investigation into civil rights abuses by the Louisville Metro Police Department. Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old Black woman, was killed when Louisville officers entered her apartment on a "no-knock" warrant last March. Taylor was unarmed.
One officer, Brett Hankison, was indicted on first-degree wanton endangerment for shooting into a neighboring apartment but was not charged for killing Taylor.
The Justice Department also indicted three white men responsible for the 2020 shooting death of Black jogger Ahmaud Arbery on hate crime charges last week. The men were charged with murder and aggravated assault in Georgia, where Arbery was killed.
DOJ has experience in Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta, former CEO of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, who oversaw investigations into police departments in Ferguson, Missouri; Baltimore; and Chicago when she served as acting chief of Obama's Civil Rights Division at DOJ."
Funnily enough, that's what they do to soldiers. My breh got involved in a fight on his birthday, and even though he didn't start it, he got hit with a jail sentence and lost his job and the judge told him she was sending him to jail because he was an officer and should always act as a role modelShould’ve gotten the death penalty. As an officer, you should be held to a higher level of ethics and face more punishment for breaching them - but this is amerikkka so
that said, I can’t imagine his decades in prison will be comfortable considering he’s a former officer
So you're saying that he'll be out next year? I don't think so

Gotta stop living in some fantasy land, they wasn't gonna give him life. 22 years in terms of SOME form of accountability is a start. These pigs will at least think twice before they trying some flagrant shyt in the future.
On all the comments on social media u got the racists crying. This will either make the pigs turn up, quit, or cut the bullshyt. we’ll see how they respond
