Co fukking sign. If he was simply speaking generally about the importance of taking ownership that'd be fine. The problem with Dame is that he's to cocky and prideful to learn the ropes and that he has a very narrow perspective of what people value. Not everyone values being a businessman period. There'ss some people who value family over their careers and all they want is a stable income where they could support their family.

There's certain people who dedicating their lives to a mission rather profit. These are people are who become teachers or work for some kind of non-profit organization. Sure they wanna stable income but they want their life's work to be about doing something for the community rather than selling people some shyt to profit off of. There's some people who wanna be scientists, engineers, writers.

Certain people's ultimate goal is to win a million dollars for others its to win a Nobel Prize. People value different things. Those of you saying oh he's not saying you shouldn't work a 9 to 5 he's just saying you shouldn't do it the rest of your life clearly didn't hear the interview. He kept saying that you don't have to start off working under anyone and if you do your a sucker.

He's playing into one of the biggest problems in the black community which is oh I don't have to learn anything I can get money fast quick and don't gotta learn the ropes. No sometimes you have to follow before you can lead and once you start leading you need people under you to help you so you can go around shytting on all those people.

LOL, dame's entire argument has NO SOUND LOGIC, anybody who has studied basic philosophy or basic math can see there is absolutely no logic in his argument, his entire strategy is based around overpowering the interviewer. Everybody who has a interest business knows his pov is counter to everything necessary to be successful in business.

I agree they was overwhelmed however any time you have a debate in life upon reflection you always think of things you should of said, eg a argument with your girlfriend, but just cause dame has a effective way of controlling the situation doesnt make him and his rhetoric any less pathetic.

His whole worldview is based on the No True Scotsman phallacy

C/s I can't see how people can't see this.
Dame is the epitome of what people used to call a "Harlem nikka".
It's all about being flyer than the next man, louder than the next man, saying flyer shyt than the next man and on. It doesn't matter if it's actually the wise thing to do. It's cool if you're an ignorant teenager or in the streets and flossin >> freedom but that life philosophy usually won't work out for normal people who are not entertainers.

Then he takes his son as an example, he's talking to urban radio and acting like the average listener has a father with millions of dollars. I like Dame as an entertainer, I don't listen to him for the same reasons to why I would listen to say Robert Johnson or the potus like some of these people seem to do. He does drop some jewels (sometimes) but its hard to extract all the jewels from all the shyt talking.

Dame is out of touch, always has been. He had an incredible run, and if the music industry didn't hit bottom because of all the pirating, he would still be doing music. But he had a good run.

But Dame is out of touch. Dame is not down to earth. To not see that, means Dame owns you. His philosophy and outlook does not apply to average Joes. The stuff he throws out is really for fellow millionaires and fellow celebrities. You think other famous people and millionaires are not out of touch? They are, but they are smart enough to keep their mouth shut instead of trying to relate to common folk.

Beyonce did a song saying there was a billion dollars in that elevator when the incident happened. That had to hurt some people who thought Beyonce was humble.

Nope, Dr Dre didn't just produce forever. He took his money and flipped it to multiple business and investments. Yes Dre loves music so he will do that job forever but when your worth 650 Million, you are your own boss no matter who you answer to above you in the tax brackett. Dre is a Boss for sure.

Envy has his own brand and is worth more than Dame, but he still shytted on Envy.

Look at Dame in the interview about Jays elevator incident, he throws jabs throughout the video aout how 'jay has to behave, cause the corporate people writes him his check. But me im not corporate".

I was waiting for Envy to school breh on the concept of a brand and how its far more profitable than putting all his eggs into an independent radio show, but Envy just sat there and let Dame shyt on him about not owning a radio show.

That line was so corny. It came and went so fast. If anything it shows they were embarrassed about it It came out of left field:dahell:

Drama is to be expected, so that whole incident was whatever.

But that Billion dollar line was :smugdraper:. And I respected it, because it was honesty coming from this superficial chick.

Charlamagne Tha God Calls Dame Dash A "Culture Vulture"

posted Saturday March 21, 2015 at 08:00AM PDT

Charlamagne_304-300x300.jpg

Late last week, Dame Dash's appearance on The Breakfast Club turned the Roc-A-Fella cofounder into a trending topic on Twitter in part due to his heated conversation with the show's cohosts DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God.

Specifically, a question from DJ Envy about how Dame met the Camel set the former record executive off and led to Dash shutting down any future questions about Hov.

In the latest edition of his The Brilliant Idiots podcast with Andrew Schulz, Breakfast Club cohost Charlamagne reacted to Dame's appearance and some of the philosophy he shared on the show.

Offering his take on what Dash was trying to accomplish during the interview, Charlamagne eventually offered that the serial entrepreneur is actually a "culture vulture."
Charlemagne is right but both these nikkaz is on that bullshyt. Otherwise they would've discussed this shyt behind closed doors n if Dame or whoever wants to start wiggin out n acting bipolar, shoot the fair one n make up after. The fact that these nikkaz are arguing in public reveals both to be culture vultures. Buzzards pecking at each other's crumbs for twitter followers n ratings. Pure nikka shyt.

Jfc, I remember reading Sinatra's unauthorized biography n this jerkoff guinea once thru a girl thru a plate glass window at a party n almost severed her arm off. Another chick, a prostitute servin him up on a movie set, had to suffer him eating steak n eggs with a knife n fork on her chest.

These lil cheese eatin nikkaz, u don't tip a bathroom attendant n they got u on Worldstar calling u a broke ass nga. That's why nikkaz can't play in the majors, they still putting pine tar on the bats and spitting on the game ball before the pitch, tryna trip each other up cuz they're too immature to address shyt in private.:mjlol:

It wouldn't matter if a white ceo said it because nikkas love white people. Just look at how people reacted to the barneys situation last year. If the owner of tru religion shytted on People you think nikkas would stop buyin his products. Fukk no
people in general don't care…I'm just saying how stupid Dame is.
He doesn't have a strong business to say shyt like this.

And stop it w/ the "black people love white people shyt".
Gay people still eat at Chik Fil A.
If you have a good business it can't be denied….Dame doesn't have that.

We all know Charlemage is the real culture vulture. Mr Chatty Patty isn't new for Chatting about other men. He got his start on gossipin ass culture vulture queen Wendy Williams show. Dame was apart one of the greatest rappers ever careers and help other rappers get on including Ye as far as his rap career. So Charlemange need to fall back, Dame got more cred in Hip Hop then he will ever have.

I agree with Charlamange but why didn't he push back during the interview? Saying all this now makes him look weak imo. All you had to do is watch Dame's previous interviews to know exactly what his argument would be, and then be ready to son him.

"Real men don't talk about social media"
Reality: Dame has used social media to attack a variety of people and beg to get invited to radio shows

"Real men don't talk about gossip"
Reality: Dame did videos with his barber about Jay's elevator mishap and a variety of other gossipy stories

"100k is nothing to me"
Reality: Dame is bankrupt

come on.

Do you know what out of context means??? He was literally trying to go in on Envy because of the fact that he has a boss. Never mind that Envy lives in one of the richest neighborhoods on the country, nevermind that he's likely in the Top 10%.

Yes, I understand what it means. You questioning me on it doesn't change the fact that he took Dame's comment out of context.

I don't support Dame but I understood what he was saying. Envy got defensive and that's why his conversation with Dame went south. It doesn't matter if Envy has a great job or lives in a rich neighborhood. As talented as he is, he could be more than that. Dame wants Envy to own his own radio/mass media company, be his own boss and profit in the way that his bosses at clear channel do. That's all Dame was trying to say.
