Alright, but none of the people on here or on social media were the people around him then or now. So, no, I don't believe that's the case.

People are rubbed the wrong way by what he's saying about their existence and how they eat.

People are rubbed the wrong way by feeling like their way isn't the right way.

People are not rubbed the wrong way because of how he treated people they don't know, don't work with or don't even know the names of.

Peace

What kind of degree in psychology gives you the right to say what it was that rubbed people the wrong way about what he said about being a sucker for working a 9 to 5? You dudes man I swear. Fact is no one likes arrogance especially when it comes from a dude who has failed miserably and has a history of forming chaotic relationships. Its possible to work a 9 to 5 job while still knowing the importance of owning your own property. The shyts aren't mutually exclusive. This dude literally said you don't ever have to work for someone you can just put shyt out there and didn't give an explanation as to how? All dude said was "I never had a job". Ok he sold drugs used the money to flip to do club promotions and then eventually met Jay-z. Drug Dealing whether it was a legitimate job or not was his job that he used to fund his entrepreneurial aspirations. Some people aren't willing to run the risk of selling drugs to bring up their income so they do the 9 o 5 thing if they so choose to want to own a business. The fact that he's so opposed to calling someone boss because it threatens his manhood is driven by ingrained ego, not due to any sort of righteousness and if anyone who works under him hears that that can create disloyalty and poor morale from your workers. In his case anyone who ever worked for him was a slave and he was there slave master rather than being seen as someone who gave these dudes an opportunity. The message wasn't own your own shyt or don't be satisfied with being a worker your whole life. Its if you work for anyone your a sucker. Its impractical that people who come from poverty can just flip money as if the shyt grows on trees.

So true.

He was shiiting on his peers, fellow entertainers.

Then you have guys who make $10 an hour offended, like his message relates to their life.

I learned this hard way, the most mediocre person will think he is on the same level as successful people.

I'm not gonna get into a huge back and forth...I own my own business and found his comments on the breakfast club divisive and flat out wrong. He's demeaning to the working class and his model of dameinism wud never be a successful economic or biz model.

If we all owned our businesses, and not one worked for a boss, how wud that work? Please someone breakdown this economic model.....I'll wait.

His comments rubbed people the wrong way.

When you say things like, 'There's no pride in having a job.' You're shytting on your employees and you're shytting on the everyday consumer who's driving in their car saying, 'I'll never go into his son's restaurant. I'm never gon' buy his son's cookies. I'm not buying Damon Dash's fukking movie 'cause he don't give a fukk about me.'

I mean even Obama has a boss....we the people. We tell him if he gets the job or not, our congress tell him if each district in the country approves of what he does. CEOs have to face the chair committee, committee has to face share holders. I mean everyone has to look up, yet he's acting like that doesn't make you a man. I don't even know what that has to do with sexuality, in the ancient days, you had only 1 king and an army. If we had no command structure we'd all be living like a pack of rogue wolves.

ps. Im late to this discussion barely got a chance to watch the interview last night. if these points were already covered, my bad.

You don't want back and forth but then just asked me an assanine question. A question that is not even worth my time and has your contrarian narrative built into it.

No thanks. Good bye.

Dudes keep talking about the working class, the working class is not even on most millionaire's radars.

They are surely not on Dame Dash's radar. Dame was legit talking to TBC.

What advice can he give to someone making $10 an hour? Or why would someone content with having a boss care what Dame has to say?

That's why I'm tired of the convo. Dudes want to create a narrative based around their insecurity.

I believe some people heard that message and were offended. These are the people who are the worker bees. They want to work and find employment. That's where they're content.

And then some people heard the message and were inspired. These are the people who are the owners or want to become the owners. They want to build something of their own. They heard the real message behind the delivery. This includes some employees as well....because they're on the road to being owners.....they're not content being a worker.

My thing is, if the worker bees are so content and if they really believe that Dame is so wack, then they wouldn't care so much. But they do care and they do what know he's saying. But instead of taking the message and moving forward, they want to find ways to hate weeks later.

I just think its wack to keep bringing dudes name into ever possible topic on some "I'm a man too" sh#t.

Peace
