Charlotte says she's on all 3 brands because she's the hardest worker on the roster

WWE Superstar Charlotte was recently on Maria Menounos' daytime show Better Together w/ Maria Menounos where she talked about the idea of her being overexposed. Charlotte is, for now, done with NXT after losing the NXT Women's Championship in a triple threat match at NXT"Takeover: In Your House". She was previously working on all three WWE brands, and she talked about her consistency in WWE.

"The issue is, a lot of what has helped me in my career is, I'm consistent," Charlotte stated. "Maybe I'll never be as high, or as low, but I'm able to stay in the game always. I never give people a chance or an opportunity to miss me, so either the audience takes me for granted or they don't.

"I think that adds to the 'she's a Flair, she's shoved down our throat.' It's so hard for people to see past 'Charlotte's always in the picture,' but this isn't HER storyline. She's a tool in the story they're trying to build."

Charlotte was asked what is the biggest misconception about her. She stated that it was her last name and the idea of her always being in the title picture.

"My last name. And I'm always in the title picture," Charlotte said. "But if you look at my last 6 title reigns, it was just, they weren't for me. So that's the misconception, because I'm always in people's face."

A regret that Charlotte revealed was that she joined WWE too late. She talked about how many talents in the locker room are significantly younger than her.

"Man, why did I figure out life so late. I'm in a locker full of 20-year-olds," Charlotte noted. "By no means am I comparing careers, like they have a long way to go at the company. But I'm just like, man I wish at 24. I just had no idea what was going on! I wasn't put together.

It's as if they genuinely don't understand the reason that Becky got big - people not only were excited to see Charlotte knocked down, but they enjoyed that someone was tired of her shyt, and voiced it.

I think they do, because the way they added her to the WM main event was straight up "Vince is adding her because you don't like her and it will make you mad" on screen. But they seem to forget that every 3 months like everything else.

Her dumb ass logic probably has her thinking that her beating Asuka for the title on a random ass Smackdown right before WM was for Becky's story, not hers. Ignoring the fact that she was added to the match for no reason at all other than let's put Charlotte in this historic match and even with her inserted, she didn't need the title.

She probably thinks beating Sasha in every PPV was part of Sasha's story.

Her NXT reign? Who did that help.

Rhea challenges Charlotte to come after her belt, loses the belt clean at WM, gets another chance this past weekend and gets pinned.

Bianca was the #1 contender, loses to Rhea, Charlotte no sells her shyt in their match then beats her ass after, I think another night Charlotte threw her ass into the stairs. Bianca never gets payback, let alone a rematch, now she's on Raw doing absolutely nothing.

Io should've had the title a while ago, doesn't even pin Charlotte to win the belt.

Charlotte's recent NXT run was the most pointless bullshyt that wasn't related to booking specifically for Saudi princes that WWE has done in a number of years. She spent her whole time going for the NXT title and as NXT champ feuding with the Raw champion and her only appearances in NXT were to smash NXT talent and knock them back down the card. Literally everyone involved with Charlotte since the Rumble is worse off than they were before.

They could've had something if she was the first woman to hold all the Women's singles belts in the company, but Bayley beat her to that accomplishment which makes the NXT run even more pointless.

Back in the day when Ric Flair was world champ in NWA/WCW he would be in full on feuds for the world title with Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Morton, Barry Windham, Nikita Koloff and around 3 or 4 other guys while also being in team feuds as leader of The Four Horsemen with half of the roster while also heading out to the territories and feuding with The Von Erichs and whoever else was big out there yet Ric never seemed to be overexposed like his daughter.
Because Ric Flair put other wrestlers over even if he was winning most of his matches.
It all boils down to how WWE pushes her. She's pushed in a way that diminishes other wrestlers. Until she and WWE realize that she will continue to be hated no matter how hard they try to make her the face of women's wrestling.

I haven't actually watched in forever, so someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Charlotte's problem is that she doesn't have a character aside from showing up and saying "ME AM FLAIR. ME WANT TITEL. WOO."

It's like they're trying to make her Ric Flair, but their only knowledge of Flair is late era WCW Flair when they didn't really have anything for him, and he became a parody of himself who had promos that were basically early demo versions of the second verse of "What These bytches Want" by DMX, but with wrestler names. They completely forgot that while he was champ a bunch of times, he also put a bunch of people over. Almost no one gets a definitive W over Charlotte. She either gets her win back post haste, or has a convenient excuse for the loss. Even in cases where it makes sense for her to win as a heel, the face doesn't even get to look good in the loss by getting cheated in some way. They just lose.

If I were watching WWE, I'd have no interest in whatever Charlotte is doing, because I'd already know how it was going to end.
