i just watched an interview last night where she said men need to have some "fukking empathy" and go watch more movies with women. every attempt to scold male audiences that i have seen (ghostbusters, star wars, etc.) seems to have failed in the past. i wish she had just marketed her movie better because she is talented and it is harder for women to get second chances.

I saw literally no promotion for this movie at all. The closest thing I saw was an interview with Stewart on Howard Stern. Nobody asked for this movie, so I don't know why Banks is pointing the finger at men for.

Look at this and tell me if this looks like a big budget Hollywood movie or something coming to the CW.

Ford v Ferrari, the other movie that dropped this weekend, is out now.

Most people aren't trying to see feminist, fakkit shyt, but will stomach it ONLY if the thing they're watching is something they liked going in. People will never go see something bc there's dykes running around or bc it's all women or whatever. Women don't even support that whack shyt. Everywhere you look, mufukkas are always trying to throw 'diversity' into shyt, even when it's not warranted. Yeah, I saw this flop coming from a a mile away.

Kristen Stewart is never going to be able to carry a major film or franchise herself. Unless I missed something, she's not a great actress, and isn't one of those people that people obsessed with celebrities care about.

Charlie's Angels was already a property that was largely obscure when the original movies came out nearly 20 years ago.

The movie looked trash. When my girl and I would see trailers for it over the summer at other movies, I'd check to see if she wanted to see it, and it got the each time. And she's the target audience.

Marketing for this seems like it was bad, since I don't remember seeing a single commercial or hearing about it anywhere. But for all I know, maybe it was advertised during more women-centric programming.

Not sure how anyone could be surprised, honestly.
