i just watched an interview last night where she said men need to have some "fukking empathy" and go watch more movies with women. every attempt to scold male audiences that i have seen (ghostbusters, star wars, etc.) seems to have failed in the past. i wish she had just marketed her movie better because she is talented and it is harder for women to get second chances.

Men don't have a problem watching a movie starring a woman. Wonder Woman made a killing at the box office and the sequel will do the same. Captain Marvel made a billion at the box office. Black Widow will definitely make $500+ at the box office next year. Birds of Prey will make money next year. The Angelina Jolie Tomb Raider movies made money. The Underworld movies made money. The Resident Evil movies made enough money since they kept releasing them. If the movie is dope men will watch it. If it looks like garbage then they'll skip it.

She expects us to be fired up with a trailer that has a dress up/closet scene?? Even in male led action movies that's can be corny if handled wrong.....and from the trailer she handled it wrong.

If they're gonna reboot some shyt at least change the tone or something and make it "grittier". It's the same version of previous movies with different actors.
