Yeaput the chips on so I would add them halfway when the coal is burning correct, So just lift up the grate and just drop them on right?
After breh and right before you finna add the meat..All I wanna know is do I put in the chips before or after I light the coals on fire??!
Yea
Definitely don't add the wood when you first light the coals.
Should always be right before you bout to drop the meat on the grill and the coals are already hot.
Just toss the chips on the coals, shut the grill and
O...K... that's all I needed to know.
Soak the chips in water for 30, then get some super duty aluminum foil and wrap the chips in that. Throw the packet over the coals. That's for slow smoking. 250-300 degrees. All I wanna know is do I put in the chips before or after I light the coals on fire??!
The fact that you needed to ask this makes me disappointed in humanityWhich one yall use Thinking bout switching to gas cause my neighbors be cooking out and its so fast
Can't taste grill mark bro....but yea I use lump charcoal. I got a ceramic grill and that shyt cooks perfectlyI prefer the ease of gas. Plus the temperature is more consistent. You can way better grill marks if you have the right gas grill. Charcoal is better if it's hardwood charcoal. Not a fan of plain Kingsford coals.

My secret... pressure cook chicken for 5 mins. 12 hr marinade in sesame oil vinegar dressing and soy. Grill/smoke.
