But for everything else I prefer charcoal mainly because you can add some wood chips and
c00ngas. i love charcoal but its too time consuming.

Like if you wanna sear your meat first then sear first then add in the chips.
Most of the time depending on the meat I sear,move the meat off the coals so it's getting indirect heat, throw the wood in, close the grill and set it and forget
Pecan,hickory are my favorites.
