mahomes was gimpy as fukk..had this nikka at the end of the first half walking like he had to really use the bathroom..and the defense wasnt inspired to put more pressure on him running and shyt?!! :gucci:

Lights were too bright for them dudes man that’s the only excuse I can make besides being out schemed. Howie might make this off-season strictly defense and hopefully a change of philosophy

I'm gonna come in, pop shyt & then roll

U can tell who played competitive sports and who didn't...you can also tell who understands the game & who doesn't

You gotta notice the trends and pay attn to the key details...so here are my key takeaways
  • Losing the coin toss hurt right off the bat
  • Before the fumble, the false start on Seumalo was huge...went from 3rd and short to 3rd & medium
    • Would've been a guaranteed conversion without the false start
  • It's hard to beat a good team in the playoffs when you give away free points
    • One turnover sounds fine except when the other team doesn't turn the ball over
    • That was a huge play and realistically kept KC in the game
  • Even being up 10 at halftime I was worried bc we didn't disrupt the KC offense
    • Our best defense was controlling the clock in the first half
    • Mahomes was comfortable all night
    • He was able to get to his 3rd read with ease all night
    • Pass rush was not getting there all night
    • Creed Humphrey shut down the inside pass rush
    • Reddikk, Sweat, Graham played their worst game of the season
  • Miles Sanders played horribly...but we still needed to run the ball more, esp w/ Gainwell & Scott
  • 11 second half points is not enough to beat a team as well coached as KC
    • We had better talent top to bottom but that wasn't displayed last night
  • Jonathan Gannon did not do a good job of mixing of blitzes, coverages, looks or anything
  • We didn't spy Mahomes all night, which is unfathomable, esp on 3rd downs
  • The hail mary attempt was pitiful
  • Hurts played a really good game, but we needed him to be mistake free
    • We needed him to compensate for a poor def effort
    • We needed him to win the big game
    • End result = another loss on the big stage

TJ Edwards dude can tackle but everything passes are over the middle he is trailing, we were carved up by our linebackers and at the end of the game when Pacheco was had his long run i watched Kyzir white stop his angle of pursuit at the 5 and stand there and watch Pacheco run by him then slide to run the time down for the game winning field goal. These linebackers all year have not made 1 impact play and they need to go. Too slow, too late and invisible the whole game.

When you think about it, our defense wasn't as stacked as we thought. Every good QB we played all season we underperformed. Bad field or not, our secondary got exposed outside of CGJ. We need a fresh start especially at DC. Let Jordan Davis and Milton Williams anchor the d line, free Nakobe, and draft well

this is also true. before the game i wouldve said pay hargrave whatever, but now if the deal isnt reasonable then dude can walk. outside of CGJ, im not losing sleep over missing out on any of these dudes. i do want graham back on the low for legacy purposes though.

this defense got some holes to fill between DT, CB2, S and potentially LB. idk how i feel about milton as anything more than a rotational piece. nakobe dean season is officially here for sure though.
