I just started hearing this term recently too and it looks like veteran comedians are starting to be lumped in with political grifters if they aren’t on the lefter side of the political spectrum. My post wasn’t directed at that whether he’s funnier now or not. He obviously taken a completely different type approach to his stand up, you can like it or not.
