So...what's the kiss about? And how does time work in this world compared to the real world? Those are my two big questions.

The kiss clearly looks like Yoru, but the lead up to it shows Yoru go from acting like herself to looking emotional like Asa normally is. We know the Asa/Yoru merger has been happening more and more, but I wonder if this was another sign that it's happening even more quickly. Picture this merging getting another 1000 years to complete. It'd have to peak.

The other part of this is whether or not time is passing in the real world. It seems like it must, because that dude in the world is a hunter from another time period. But I wonder if time moves more slowly or not at all. That would allow for Denji and Asa to develop but return to the chaos we just witnessed.
Or
If time really does pass in this world. Could we get a timeskip? It'd be interesting to have these characters return to a world that didn't have CSM protecting it and was on verge of anarchy.

Then there's the more obvious solution...Time is moving, but they'll find a way to escape or someone else will break them out. I keep saying that I'll go back to International Assassins to see how Makima got everyone away from the Darkness Devil's realm. Maybe there's a clue there or maybe even a chance for a parallel. Fami could replace Makima, or a "surprise I wasn't dead" Nayuta (doubtful), or a reborn devil (new Control or new Blood)...
Or
Something else creative. If the world keeps heading for chaos, maybe the Devil Hunters' Association makes a bargain to get CSM back. Or Kishibe finally shows up or something.

Idk, there are a lot of cool directions this little arc can take. But since this is Fujimoto, I expect it to do something that catches me completely off-guard whether that's for better or worse.

The overwhelming majority feels it will be a time skip due to that thousand year quote
That could be interesting if Denji /Asa “mature” so to speak or something they could just come back to a post apocalyptic world
As several theories I’ve read

Tbh they are the only two humans who matter going forward (rip Kobeni & Kishibe), so that could be an interesting. Plus, since Denji didn't drink the Aging Devil's blood, I would wonder what would happen with that deal from earlier. Actually, I wonder assuming that under the assumption Nayuta is 100% dead. Fami getting the new control devil as an ally could have been her plans since Nayuta wasn't interested in that.

this fell off harder than jjk :wow:

I mean in terms of being an entertaining series, sure. The things carrying JJK post Shibuya was the Gojo Sukuna fight & the memes + community. The former Gege had in his back pocket since the start of the series, and he used it when he did because of how fukking awful Culling Games was minus the fights. Like if you told me there was a different author Hidden Inventory and Culling Games I would believe you. Culling Games in line for one of the WOAT shounen arcs. Most people stuck with it because they put 100+ chapters into JJK.

Tbh CSM was never meant to be a battle shounen like JJK. Even more obvious with how part two has gone. Now the long turn direction of the story of Part two is aimless because the story of CSM is basically Denji's life, and he is being manipulated by all these different parties. Which has been a miss for the most part. Though since the Nayuta reveal in the Sushi Restaurant and the Aging Devil stuff as of late has been really good. Pacing is awkward because it isn't a true weekly series plus the art falloff for the series is quite noticeable.

@storyteller This chapter had a lot damn.

To start Yoru literally went, you are cute when you are crying. Denji needs to learn that Asa & Yoru are two different personalities basically and not Asa going through mood swings. :pachaha:

Great Asa moment though when she talks about her mom. :mjcry: Though this def feels like the start of Asa & Denji relationship taking root. Though typical Fujimoto fashion he has Denji puking the snow devil

Regarding the last page. I don't see how Aki could come back so that's def bait and a flashback if anything.

That's the most evil "wait until next week" panel ever.

Of course Asa's confession gets disrupted by Denji puking up a gross looking devil. I didn't realize it was the snow devil, but that's a good pick. I wonder if Denji will keep regurgitating devils and what else might come up. It's a bit of a wild card that Fujimoto can run with if he wants.

I agree that Aki and Power has to be something spiritual or mental rather than physical. But damn, would I love to see Power and Yoru interact.

Good chapter.

Pochita tried to remind Denji of the happiness and to strive for it. Don't wallow in your misery. Though his motivation is the most Denji way of doing things, Nice to see Denji is back on his feet. Denji's plan is actually onto something.

I'm curious to see how this all works, with CSM's body half in the real world and spitting up devils that seem like their powers can function. I wonder if they can spit up a few devils that cause pure chaos.

Denji's conclusion that as long as there's good food and women, he has a reason to live, is pretty fun. But it's also kinda depressing compared to the connections he's had stolen from him.

Denji did something smart :ohhh:

Aging Devil motives have me curious. Since if humans live ridiculously long enough, they turn into trees. He has a researcher's mindset that is intriguing to say the least.

Normally, I would be like when this shyt gets animated :banderas: . But we don't even have any updates on the movie :unimpressed:

Anyway, great chapter. I hope Fumiko dies from here, she was a bytch this whole time. Essentially, we got a battle of Aging Devil sacrificing human parts, but Denji can regenerate Pochita. Though, unlike with Makima, the Aging Devil isn't the final boss.

To add on at this point, it is clear the prophecy that Nayuta and Fami mentioned will happen. Makes me wonder if Nayuta secretly tried to prevent it and obvious Fami was for it?
Though that is more speculation for me.
