Not to be vulgar,but some ancient muslims,Christians,Jewish believed that spit,body parts,bodily fluids had the power to bless,transmit power as well as curse.
It was debated about who should be able to practice it and who shouldnt. As well as when it was considered religious or occult demonic acts.
