I agree with you. But there were good songs on Nastradamus too. Good songs on those jay albums too (MCHG would have been a better example of a bad Jay album). A lot of the way you view an album is contextual.

It's my favorite Tribe record and I honestly feel like it's their 2nd best. I know a lot of cats here and elsewhere say it's the third but for me, I rank it above people's instinctive travels because there's more balance of Tip and Phife and they were just at the point where they found their style and their sound and just did what they did. It's not a long album so there's no filler and it's just a perfect album.
