Stankonia did have some great songs on it, but it also had a lot of forgettable material. Coming off three excellent albums in a row, it was a huge disappointment.

I'm listening to the double album now, I didn't like it back in 2003 and it's sounding pretty awful now.

Nobody liked Idlewild.

It could drop today and still sound fresh. I think the first time I heard it was in the early 2000s. Changed my perspective of the native tongue era.

I get what you mean, but answer me this, while you were appreciating the mediocrity, were you also a little disappointed that the album wasn't a banger like their first three?

Of course it wasn't compared to the first 3, wasn't near that level, but you got to realize, there is more than just either classic or bad.
