Clearly not talking about wins & losses, we already established Russell had better teams, better coaching

You just decided to move the goal posts while ignoring Wilt would outperformed Russell when they faced off

Russell had a stacked team and so did Wilt. I already provided proof of that in an earlier response post to you.

All I said was that Russell owned Wilt in head to head matchups as it pertains to wins and losses.

You're shifting goalposts by talking about individual stats when those don't matter when your team loses.

I already refuted the supposed 'stacked teams' Wilt had

1 season of a rookie Thurmond ... played at end of career with West and a washed up Elgin

The talent around the two wasnt comparable, its a ridiculous argument to even try to make, so just not having it

Obviously you're a Celtics fan, so this whole conversation is pointless, so we'll have to agree to disagree

Theyre obviously both great players

He wasn't the better rebounder and there were no stats for blocks that I'm aware of.
Defender...I can't confirm or deny this but you can have that
Leader....I'll give you this based on here say
Wade is a better leader, defender and equal shot blocker to Bron with more rings but when it comes to basketball, Bron is better because the eye test and the stats show this.
Again, Wilt is a better passer, shooter and rebounder with over twice as many points. Twice as many breh. And without the eye test, we have to go to the numbers

1. Russell was a better blocker. Contemporaries, experts, and analysts ALL say the same thing. The only issue is that blocks weren't recorded during Russell's time BUT people conservatively estimated that he averaged 4 blocks per game. Go look up what a Wilsonburger is.

2. Rebounds can be said to be a draw because a .4 rebound per game for career stats is negligible.

3. Wilt is the better scorer and passer. Russell was the better leader and defender. They're virtually the same rebounding.

4. Wilt had 2 rings and 4 MVPs. In that same era, Russell had 11 rings (in 13 years) and 5 MVPs. He also has the Finals MVP trophy named after him.

5. Contemporaries (players who played with both) named Russell the best ever player in 1981.

6. Look at their bodies of work and it's undeniable that Russell had a better career and was a better player for the purposes of winning. You guys can keep saying that it's because Russell had a better supporting cast but that is disingenuous. The Celtics NEVER won until Russell was drafted. While he played, he won 11 rings in 13 years; he won 2 as a player-coach. When he retired, the Celtics immediately struggled and we're practically irrelevant until the Larry Bird years. Moreover, Wilt also had equal talent around him; Russell played with four members of the NBA's Top 50 at 50 (Havlicek, Cousy, Sharman, and Sam Jones) and Wilt played with six members (Baylor, West, Greer, Cunningham, Arizin, and Thurmond). And Russell's teammates from 1957 to 1969 were selected to twenty-six All-Star games, while Wilt's teammates from 1960 to 1973 were selected to twenty-four.

I'm a Lebron fan, but he's right. Dudes like Mike and Kobe had that "I don't give a fukk" attitude when it came to the opposing team and sometimes even their teammates. Bron is sorely lacking in that regard.
They were raised with semi-positive male influence and by mothers who aren't still getting turned up and fighting security. You'd second guess yourself if your peers were banging your your mom too. He does not have the confidence of a seasoned player and a championship winner, though he is all of that.

Spend time discussing a misquote, brehs.

Fail to realize that "...." represents a lot of missing words and context.

Got excited for some LeBron/Cavs fukkery and then saw the actual, boring ass quote.

Damn, how did we end up here, Bron was supposed to be universally loved coming back home :damn:

cleveland is shytty sports town with an ungrateful fanbase which is why they will never win shyt

this GM is a prime example, it starts at the top

the cavs didn't even exists when Lebron left and went to the finals the year he returned while the heat became irrelevant like the cavs

ungrateful isn't even in the word
