When she asked Nate Parker, hey who fukked me last nite? Now I'm not trying to say having sex with someone before engaging in a threesome or whatever means they weren't raped, but her story just didn't add up. Also Nate and Celestin were lucky not to get the death penalty, they're black men who were tried for raping a white woman after all. There were just too many holes in her story, and I think it's fukked up that a lot of women think that because of solidarity, we must just accuse a guy of rape just cause it didn't seem consensual. It makes a mockery of the entire issue.
You weren't born in America, both your parents were not descendants of slaves. You were not raised in an American hood around black people for the majority of your life...nor have you had police interactions as an African American...especially male, since you're not a man.

I don't doubt it. I wish I could see it another way but a black patriarchy does not seem appealing to me...I can't see myself purposely choosing that for my route for my life or my daughters' unless that was the only way. Most white women see white supremacy and by extension "white patriarchy" as the only way. A lot of black women don't support a black patriarchal system because it doesn't exist (in America) for the most part, except subconsiously I guess.
I'm saying all this to say I'm not against the black patriarchy but when there are other alternatives why should I young black woman or any woman go that route? This is why feminism is considered a "loss of power" by men: It gives women other options.
bytch shut your goofy ass up. You hype as hell.I was born in Texas you nincompoop. Got damn...getting the Obama treatment I see. Lol.
Making all them damn assumptions but haven't asked me one question about my life. What is wrong with you breh?
I was raised around black people all my life. First time we moved into a better school district, half white half black school, I was raiding purses in the locker room during PE for spending money. I had never seen so many dooney and bourkes and coach's in my life. Til I got caught and snitched on by another black girl.
I have had police interactions. I've been arrested (once) and did community service before.
My nikka card is about to be pulled by a random black patriarch online....wtf has my life come to? I've been a black woman ALL my life. Dealing with racism and colorism all my life. I am an American. I don't speak Swahili or French or any other Bantu language even though I wish I did. Never stepped on the Motherland in my life, even though I hope to one day soon. You are tripping.
Did you?
When Nat Turner's wife gets surrounded by the slave catchers
Please tell me you know basic context clues in movies breh, this is a part of the American English Literature education set for 7th grades here in the US![]()
I'm not against yall leading the community. I just wish yall would hurry up and do it and stop complaining so much. In order to be a leader, you have to DO something. You build it and they will come. You sitting up here telling me how much the black patriarchy can do for me in the distant future does nothing for me right now today. Especially since a lot of posts from the men on this board don't even focus on selling black patriarchy, or explaining its merits. Instead they focus on bashing anyone who dares present an opinion different from theirs. Is that the type of black leadership I should expect? I'm getting fukked over but at least its by a black man? I should be grateful for that? NO. Tell me how the black patriarchy benefits black women. How can we take the existing model and make it women-friendly.So you're content with white patriarchy? Or do you like the fact our community is virtually a black matriarchy?
Why are so against a black patriarchy? Why are you so against black men leading the community?
Boy...just put me on ignore. I promise I won't cry about it....too muchbytch shut your goofy ass up. You hype as hell.
Excited in this thread getting shyt on. I don't care about yourlife history lame ass girl.
Good. Let it be so.Black feminists belong to white supremacy, they are the white community's red-headed step child. I thought we already established this.
So you agree with me? Or not?Good. Let it be so.
Nah, I'll just continue telling you toBoy...just put me on ignore. I promise I won't cry about it....too much
Can I ask what better options are there for the black community at large? Together? If there are any at all?I'm not against yall leading the community.
