I don't think that video is from Culiacan, there was an unrelated incident in Michoacan a few days ago, where 14 state police were ambushed by Mencho's people, I think this video is from that. They shot it out with SEDENA/NAVY not state police.

People start getting carried away with the shock value tweets and hashtags, I think.

That’s so fukking gangster. Like could you imagine a nikka like Ralo getting arrested and his team flips on the city so hard that the cops is like :whoa:“chill chill we don’t want that smoke. We gonna let him go”. Like nah, that’s one part of Mexico I ain’t never going to :damn:
America is a different Animal, our military would cripple any country let alone any gang. Even Al Capone at the height of his power knew not to even think of fukking with the federal government.

Mexico has the firepower, it's more complicated then that. Its where they were, and how the operation transpired. This is in Nayarit in 2017, this is a different boss, extremely powerful in his home state. Look how he was handled. They sent Blackhawk gunships for him.

dudes taking about the united states getting involved like that shyt would be easy peasy.:rudy: yeah theres factions but they got money, granted not US money but money and weapons. ISIS done showed the world how to wage guerilla warfare with the US:francis:. it's not going to be a walk in the park. plus they got cartel affiliated peeps in the US:sadcam:
any remaining legit government officials have to get some measure of control over their country.
us war on drugs gave rise to organized crime all of over the world. :pacspit:

Uh... You mean the Taliban showed the world how to wage war with the US. ISIS is washed.

Panama and Costa Rica don't have this level of violence. Nor do most South American countries

And if the cartels couldn't make money selling drugs anymore, I have to imagine they would just move on to extortion like the gangs in El Salvador
Or oil(which they are in), gun trafficking, racketeering, etc, etc.

And yea outside a few countries South America is safe as fukk especially the southern cone. South America is probably the most stable region in Latin America outside of Venezuela.

Cartels do bombings as well, although I haven't read about suicide..but clearly they are willing to die for the cause.

They might do things with the risk of dying, but I haven't heard of them intentionally going on suicide missions. It's also not like the low ranking members have a choice.

Exactly. Even dirt poor Bolivia seems to be much safer than Mexico.
