Melo scores with single, double, even triple coverage, he scores with someone right in his chest, it doesnt matter. Pullup 3's . In the post, driving to the rim, baseline fadeaways with two defenders. If he had a Dwayne Wade type player, youd see that FG% go up to 48-53 % range.

Not about titles...

Look at his individual accomplishments and compare that to the expectations people had for him coming into the league.

I don't remember any high expectation from him when got drafted. Also, I remember he had a better rookie season than Lebron but didn't win the rookie of the year award. That was one award that should have been in Melo's resume. Melo is a great player in his own right. He haven't missed a playoff tournament in his entire career. That is a unique feat that is not recognized. He got a scoring title and consecutive all-star appearances and two gold medals. He didn't underachieved. Based in the circumstances that Melo is in, he actually accomplished a lot for a player that have been playing in mediocre teams throughout his career.

 Melo was pretty damn horrible in 2008 breh. Getting shut down by Luke Walton/Vlad Rad types and shyt

I meant 08-09 and 09-10

Those two years in the playoffs with iverson were weird. Against the spurs Melo balled out and iverson was trash, against the lakers iverson played good and melo was trash

A guy who was fresh off winning an NCAA championship, that won Final Four most outstanding player award, was drafted third overall, and was being touted as the Larry Bird to Lebron James Magic Johnson didn't have any high expectations? :stopitslime:
