Carlitos Way does the same thing Ricky does at the end of Boyz N The Hood... No matter how many times I watch it I always think they gonna make it on that train... All he had to do was chop it up with Bennie..give him a lil game OR AT LEAST COMP HIM FOR THE BOTTLES AND THE SECTION.. but him ducking Tony Tagliavuccio (sp) goons was .. I give Scarface the slight edge cause there was no love story except Tony's incestuous love for Gina

Carlito's Way is a better movie but Scarface is more classic.

Both classics,

Scarface is a lush 80's excessive epic of a movie, with beautiful shots and a great score, some masterful performances, and a reflection of an era.

Carlitos Way is stripped down, and more subtle, intricate, and thoughtful, 70's NY, all grimy streets and Hampton parties, less excessive and more of a character study then a morality play.

I love both, on different days for different reasons.

Tony Montana is an iconic character, but Carlito's Way is a better movie straight up and down.

Scarface is better I understand that it was overrated by 90s/ early 00s rappers saying it was the G. O. A. T when it's not but it's still a great movie

Scarface is one of the most charismatic acting performances ever. Carlito's Way is a cool movie but it got a little too cute at the end.
