Nah haven't heard anything about a 17yr old. I will say that there's a girl involved as an accomplice but I don't know her name or role. Heard this today from a Hoover police officer at the cigar lounge. Went there earlier to kick it with my dad. And dude said they left so much stuff out of the press conference. He said they had a meeting about it Friday so they already knew it was cap, they just had a press conference because it blew up so big and to ease people and assure them there's no kidnappers on the loose. They just couldn't discuss because they actually didn't know where she was at the time. Also I was right about her not leaving her Mercedes there, she was driving another car at the time. That's something they left out of the story.

City, state, and federal authorities are on it too. Hoover had to turn over all evidence and worked with FBI, said it took them less than 12 hrs to debunk the story and they advised the family not to speak publicly but they did anyway.

The dad knew it was cap but still willingly went on the air for the dummy mission. I know he is regretting following his wife’s lead because she and Carlee had him looking like a damn fool :francis:
