My mom has wavy hair and is light complexion (Erica Mena) and she calls herself black some are ignorant some are not. Like any other group

im not really used to dominicans since im from the chi we have ricans, but ever since i moved up east( DMV area) i been meeting lots of dominican girls, who are darker than me and literally think they aint black. then ask me shyt like do i like black girls? and lots of slick talk always in spanish of course. little do they know, i understand some spanish because of all the ricans in the Chi and one of my exes was rican.

Come to central and south Florida. You rarely if ever see Puerto Ricans and Dominicans or mixed Cubans with African Americans or west Indians. You see them whites quite often.

Idk about central but in south florida I seen plenty black guys with Dominicans and ESPECIALLY ricans. U just sound like u cant get any i have family all over south florida

And every person in my family whose dated out has been with a Puerto Rican or African American. Every single time. I never heard of a PR or Dominican person willingly calling themselves black, unless they're dark-skinned -- but then that just means they're forced to acknowledge they're black like @Hennessypapi because they have no other choice.
