You should look into the Lexus RC.

Within your $40k budget.
Sporty.
Rare.
Has a luxury badge.

The BRZ is not a fast car, so if you're looking for speed, look elsewhere.
That first one looks like an S13 with S14 headlights and an S15 bumper. There are almost no clean 180SX/240SXs these days, so be prepared for "light" (read as total garbage) mods if you want one. Second is an S15, not legal to import for another year or two. Probably gonna run 25K+ when that happens. Third is an S14 with the JDM headlights, which was subjective better looking than the US version. 240s with SR swaps are the common thing these days. If you want to stand out then you want clean mods and to fix whatever damage the previous owner caused.

You think he should try to import an Aristo? Already got the 2JZ stock. Might be cheaper instead of getting a regular Lexus and swapping.

Where It’s Not Safe
@Hennessypapi you looking for a 90s jdm straight from Japan or a american spec Japanese? You planning on modding it too? Drift car? Stance or straight power?
Im not a car guy so Im not even sure what the hell all that even means:russ: but American spec Japanese is my go to. Im looking for reliability & aesthetics. If an import has those I’ll get it though

Im not tryna do drag races with El Salvadorians in Langley Park

I just want something sweet & reliable

Did the Lexus not come with it already? If it did he could just rebadge and save even more.

It's not a fast car by 2021 standards. Ten years ago it would have been considered blazing, but nowadays it's just "quick".

Unless you get the RC-F.

RCF was a slug on day one too. It's basically a grand tourer.

Op could get a clean used ISF for $40k easy. It's just on the smaller side.

Depends on your personality, mechanical aptitude, and budget.

I would personally stay away from Mitsus... DSM included, as well as mid 2000 Subarus.

The Z cars are all good. If you want the best of all... Look into the SC300 or later SC430.
Basically anything with a 2J or the V8 aforementioned.

I'm not a Honda person, so I can't speak on that.

Imports got em they're are just more special than the Americans spec. Japanese spec are all right hand drive have have some feature trim or models that were not released to the u.s market.

Funny you mention Langley park cos that area is notorious for riced out cars with no or little performance.

Used IS-F would be a great buy.

It's crazy the value them bytches hold. 2008s with 100k miles still going for 25,000 and shyt:why:

Since we're talking this route, Op should just stack up more and get a GSF. Faster than the RCF & ISF, way better interior than the ISF. That will run him about $55k though.

This GSF is $51,000. They rare as hell too.

I believe it. My boy had a 2008 ISF. He got it in 2010 and sold it in 2012 for more than he bought it for.
