You want a female action superhero to be taken seriously you get someone like Charlize Theron or Emily Brunt. Otherwise it just looks corny.

The Avengers cast primarily consists of people in their mid to late thirties to lower fifties. Boseman will be 40 when he makes Black Panther, Cumberbatch is 39, Paul Rudd 47, Evagaline Lilly 36. So all that "they're too old" stuff isn't holding up .


Movie and character are DOA if they don't get Blunt or Theron. Only they can sell a female action hero movie without it looking ridiculously corny.
