I think they did a lot of callbacks and tried to tie everything they've done with this movie tesseract, avengers name, etc) since maybe this is supposed to be the IM1 of the universe moving forward

Why you so in feelings because someone didn't like the movie? Granted I got a couple of people on ignore so I can't see who y'all are quoting but people falling asleep during something they find boring isn't uncommon

Best thing about the movie was it tied things together and bridges together the new phase

I still don't know how Marvell ended up with the tesseract.

Word. I took solace in the fact that if the father was a deadbeat, there's a good chance he was not black because the little girl could have easily been mixed.

Anyway, I really did like the movie- 8/10 for me.

No romantic plot line, room for a complicated war angle, good music, good action, origin story that felt fresh, great music. The laugh lines were hit and miss, and the actress who played Danvers had a persistent smug face though. But the positives far outweighed the negatives.

Yeah I couldn't decide on a 7 or 8, really enjoyed the pacing and tone but it lacked tension because of her overwhelming power advantage.

Still, she made Ronan and his Goon squad fallback in style, I look forward to seeing THAT in action against Thanos next month. :BiggumsSpeculation:

Yeah wasnt bad at all, dudes tripping calling it thor 1 bad. This was better than that trash aquaman flick and i can give a damn anout sales
