If all it takes to give you a feeling of authenticity is to shoe horn in a bunch of cultural references of the era, might I recommend A Knight's Tale for you? Easily the best medieval era film piece since Braveheart.



To each his own, but throwing in a Street Fighter arcade machine with flashbacks of you dancing in a Guns N Roses tee strike me more as a movie that's trying to pay homage to 90s cultural references as opposed to a film set in the 90s. Granted it's hard to pull off when the basis of the film is centered around aliens and sci-fi elements, but that was my take on the film even while I was sitting through it.

How much time did you want them to spend letting everyone one know it was 1995.

People talked pretty much the same in 1995 as they do now. They didnt really put much of an emphasis on earth breh.

The main factor they wanted to accomplish was deaging Fury and Coulson. Which they nailed.

1. Its already been proven in my last thread and in here for critics and the manipulation of reviews and numbers. It's been proven in the last few days that they are trying hard to protect the film. You can't debunk it so save your excuses.

2. This isnt about DC vs Marvel unless you are from these camps. I was a huge Marvel fan growing up as a kid, i enjoyed DC too but as time went on the movie genre is saturated with mediocre comic book films. The movie fans continue accept mediocre films based on comics they dont even read.

3. You keep bringing up DC like WB is protecting those films from criticism. BVS sucked, JL was trash but i think they can admit to those. You Marvel fans defend things to the death...if Disney didnt have a footprint in this I think it would have an equal playing field.

Now since i said this you will scream victimhood to the mods.

1. Stop homie you embarrassing yourself. There is 20 articles right now defending CM claiming victimhood. One woman want Congress to get involve and shutdown free speech over this. RT is changing the algorithms daily to push the score higher with fans..I can post them...

I exposed something like this years before when the The Interview came out and they lied about N.Korea hacking the film. Companies will do anything to keep money going in their pockets.
