As of right now, Captain Marvel has a pretty disappointing Audience Score of 52% of Rotten Tomatoes and that's a result of trolls attacking the movie due to star Brie Larson being, well, a woman (welcome to 2019). Despite that, a real indication of how moviegoers feel about it has now been revealed courtesy of its CinemaScore.

For those of you unfamiliar with what that is, it's actually the most reputable way of gauging how people feel about a movie and encompasses a huge number of paying theater customers across North America. Those who take the survey must have seen the film beforehand too so there's no cheating.

CinemaScore is better than most similar aggregators, but it's not without it's own flaws. It's less a sign of a film's quality than it is a sign of a film's ability to deliver on audience expectations. Comforting, easily digested fan service scores better than something challenging or even slightly unexpected.

I may fukk around and go see this movie again


Then later go online and find some causes to help some white girls since this movie supposed to influence me to do that

Marv grabbing her by the neck and asking about Fury would’ve been colder IMO, but by then she most likely knows who they are. The second scene is just Goose(the alien cat) coughing up the Tesseract like a hairball.

I feel you but I also think you need to take on consideration the circumstances.

She gave Fury something only he’d know about and it was discussed it would only be used under EMERGENCIES. Next she leaves with all’s well in the world.

Then she was out and about doing her own thing, then not knowing about any of the events of the last 20+ movies. And maybe from her perspective sees species getting dusted and chaos then that distress signal comes out only for her to return to a fukked up earth with some strangers she never met in possession of something she gave to Fury overhearing then talk about Fury not sure if they friend or foe.

I think she acted appropriately, she didn’t come in ready to attack, but she didn’t come in buddy buddy. She was reserved but on guard and was well aware some shyt hit the fan

I couldn’t care less about that shyt tho. I’m looking at character development and who she is etc etc. I leave that OP discussion to everyone else. It’s comics; your power is dependent on who’s writing the story lol. It is what it is, man.

I feel like people who trip over power all that hard aren’t the folks that actually read comics you know? Even aside from that, even though she’s powerful by MCU standards, she’s clearly been hit the nerf compared to source material, like everyone else has.
