Why created Agents of Shield who really don’t have a strong place in the comics like that? It don’t matter the why but how about this.

1. No one knew who the character was when it was announced...nor no one cared.

2. You are trying too hard to justify this film. Daredevil was a established character not just in comics but in animated tv shows before the movies. The movies didn't work not because of the character but of the choose of script and actors. AOS were established group in the First Iron Man movie leading up to Avengers.

3. I agree with Jessica Jones but tv was safer than a film. She wasn't known outside comics but her risk of failing was small. Plus her character doesnt ride off coat tails to tie in films.
