This what I keep telling y'all. Whatever sexist shyt you say about women leads in superhero movies, white boys are saying the same shyt about black male leads. They don't like anyone who don't look like them. The sooner you realize that anything different from a white boy in a lead role is a step forward, the better. They don't care if you're a man, woman, black, brown, yellow, or red. If they can't see themselves in you, you're just "agenda" or "identity" politics. White women still have it better than black people in films, so you're not going to get me to champion a movie that'll most likely get praised over Black Panther when it comes out. White men supported Wonder Woman and they'll support Captain Marvel as well, and don't think for one second that they won't support Black Widow when it comes out. My problem with Captain Marvel is that they're trying to make it seem like it's going to have the same cultural impact as Black Panther and that's false. If you nikkas wanna keepfor a white female lead like it's groundbreaking then go ahead, but I can already see the bullshyt that's about to unfold after March 8th
