so a year later and now the same white critics who were praising BP are on that calling it weak ... it never fails. And no, ain't nobody gonna have the balls to give this a poor review lol

If this movie happens to actually be good and really good, then “why” should anyone give this movie a poor review?

Wouldn’t that be false petty critiquing?

Niccas really want this movie so bad to be a terrible movie and fail. I guess that “we should hope for all CBM’s to be good” spirit went out the window after December

I guess but I don't know why you are replying to me because I was gonna watch it anyway. It ties into Endgame so of course I'm gonna see it based on that

I see a lot of movies throughout the year. Some end up being bad. Not the end of the world

Case in point, Venom wasn't bad at all to me. It wasn't "great" but it was decent enough. Critics were calling it the worst shyt ever. That showed to not be the case, it wouldn't have had strong word of mouth like it did if it was horrible..

My part about critics being scared rings true to me.. I haven't met anyone who liked the new Ghostbusters movie but critics kissed that movie ass and I can only suspect that it had to do with an all-female cast.

That’s what’s up.

I just don’t pay attention to “critics” especially someone that not only is a stranger to me but doesn’t share the same skin as me.

As a black man from the south.... I don’t expect some 24 year old white dude from Parsippany, NJ or a 50+ year old white dude from Wyoming to relate to me or like the same things I like.

I can’t name any critic other than Siskel and Ebert and I haven’t listened to their reviews since like the 90s

I’m already predisposed to knowing these white people ain’t gonna like the movies I like so it’s not even a point for me to look.

The year Black Dynamite came out, I thought that was the funniest comedy of the year. It had me legit in tears from laughter.

But it came out the same year as the Hangover and CRITICS said that was the best comedy of the year. And I think that movie only made me laugh like 3 times.

Next Day Air was a low key dope movie but white people didn’t give a shyt about it and try to sell that Pitch Perfect or Magic Mike are great movies.
