The director is actually pretty decent.
She actually wrote and directed this movie..
If you see it, you wouldn't think a white woman wrote and directed it.
Also, she did 3 episodes of Billions.
And like the Russo Brothers, she works as a team with someone else.
SO it's not just her.
They've only done 4 movies ans writers/directors.

she and her HUSBAND a MAN are co dorectors, yet they've gone out of their way promoting the film as A WOMAN LED DIRECTOR while pushin the man cac to the background, man fukk that pandering.. and critics are going overboard saying men are upset at the film thats why its got low audience score like WW & Alita dont have high audience score while it was the critics bombing on Alita.

Lol i was gonna mention it being that and the 1st cap movie are the only ones i didnt see in the theater. I thought it was OK at best its for sure the weakest in the MCU

Batman V Superman got early social media praise from random fan screenings, not from critics. WB let fans see it early to post about it but they didn’t do the same thing for critics until the embargo lifted two days before the release of the movie.

WB knew if they would have let critics talk about it early, the impressions would have been horrible so they kept an embargo up until the tuesday before release and allowed random people invited to the premeire to flood twitter with their hot takes.
Marvel is doing the exact opposite of that. The people posting praise about Captain Marvel aren't random people off the street that got a ticket. They are all critics, the people that add their reviews to Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic.

Not everyone who went to the screening last night are RT approved critics, most critics are seeing the movie at a later date or at the premiere.
