I'm not excited for this movie because I don't like Carol Danvers and I don't like Brie Larson but this trailer was dope. I'll probably catch it during a matinee or possibly on kodi.

And really why is it Aquaman vs Captain Marvel? This will be DC's first movie of 2018, shouldn't be competing against Marvel's first movie of the same year? Two characters who have appeared in previous cinematic universe movies and both star PoCs?
The difference though is that neither came in as the savior to the material. Why the hell is Captain Marvel of all people going to be the deciding factor against Thanos? I know Marvel had the 10yr plan for the MCU, but I truly feel that they saw the success of Wonder Woman and decided that they were going to Make Captain Marvel their top heroine. The problem is that Wonder Woman is an iconic hero whereas the only time Carol Danvers was a little entertaining was as Ms. Marvel.Yea..... I believe that’s the common vibe around and I respect that.
I just find it curious as to how people are extra resistant to this.... as before say Guardians people really didn’t like Star Lord like that or Chris Pratt (who prior to that was the fat guy who had a small role on Parks & Rec that peeps may or may not even watched) and who was Chris H before Thor?
And many other guys.... hell early on I shared that same sentiment with practically everyone Marvel casted except Sam L and Chadwick...... but keeping and open mind and not being resistant on some “I’m not feeling them and I hate them before I see them” shyt.
It kept me in a place where I can appreciate them after I saw them. To me Marvel has done a hell of a job getting the right people to be their protagonists....... for 10 years and 20+ movies and I see no need questions them yet
