Movie gonna be garbage :snoop:

They need to toss that corny nikka Downey in the bushes

Why they keep putting him in more movies

Because the marvel movies he's in do the best business breh. It's all about the bottom line. A lot of cats on here act like all these comic book flicks are made out of the goodness of the hearts of studios but money is and always will be the motivation

Breh i dont give a shyt, none of that money going in my pockets

Downey is corny as fukk

That last Cap movie was a damn near classic and unlike Downey,Evans is actually believable as a superhero

Instead of forcing Downey into every movie they should be making Cap their lead superhero instead of wack ass ironman

I got no prob with him breh. And I'm not saying YOU care about the money I'm saying they do. It's a business man and on the bottom line, he's still the biggest star they have. If you read the story in Variety, initially he was only going to be in a few scenes but he wanted his role expanded for more camera time and obviously more money. The CEO got mad, and immediately wanted him written out of the movie but Kevin Feige calmed him down, convinced him they'd make a shyt load of money and they signed Robert to whatever he wanted and gave him a larger role. So money talks man

And I love him as Iron Man and think he's very convincing in that role. Tony isn't the typical superhero so you don't need someone like Evans to play the role and that's the thing about Stark: He's not going to fit the mold of a hero or even look like one, which is another way he and Cap are juxtaposed. Cap is a hero through and through, looks like a hero, acts like one. Tony isn't built like that physically or mentally

Some people are all "but where's the other Avengers in these solo movies?" Then there's talk of little team-ups, and now that's a problem haha

Marvel is self destructing before my eyes.

I can just see the marvel suits sitting around

First marvel stooge -"Well boys its been ten movies and we still havent created a better villain than olaf in frozen. What do we do?"

Actual monkey using speak and spell to talk- I have got it. Its genius. Remember that civil war story line that was a complete failure that nobody liked? Lets do that.

Confused ike penny pincher - "that seems expensive. We better poach actors from geico commercials. Replace ruffalo with rosie o donnel. And don cheadle is out. Tyler perry is in. Nobody will tell the difference."

Actual monkey - "no see! We can take our most popular character and turn him into a villain! Its brilliant. People always love it when you turn their favorite heros into villains. Have you not watched bash at the beach 96? Once audiences hate rdj we can pay him less money!"

Penny pincher - "genius. But can we have tony sneak up in ghost costume and kill black panther so people can shut the fukk up?"

Scene.

Nah but seriously this sounds terrible. Civil war sucked.

But is this confirmed? Because im not seeing thst it is.

Well at least you tried...

Because the Iron Man films have grossed almost $2.5B?

Basically. And leave the homie @Prodigal Syndicate alone breh lol he's just having fun out here playing his role. He likes the marvel movies just has a problem with blind fanboys acting like they can do no wrong and that they aren't greedy like any other studio in Hollywood amongst other things. His problem isn't with them, it's with the fans. Although he does have a point about that villain shyt, and Tony as a villain is probably the strongest move they could pull

this pretty much confirms what I already knew...movie gonna be :trash:

And we gotta agree to disagree on him being convincing in the role.dude looks like a 55 year old cokehead/drunk to me.i dont not see billionaire genius or superhero when I look at Downey

What is thr "civil war" storyline?
Civil War Backstory

The New Warriors (a team of teen and young adult heroes) are filming a reality show that documents their super-heroics. They arrive in a small town tracking a group of villains, the explosive bad guy Nitro being among them. The New Warriors attack the bad guys half-cocked and the fight goes down near a local elementary school. Nitro blows up killing the majority of the New Warriors and all the kids in the school.

The government freaks out, the public starts hating on super-heroes and (just like what happened with the Patriot Act) legislation is pushed through to register all super-powered people called the Super Human Registration Act.To try and get ahead of the outrage Iron Man/Tony Stark, Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic and Hank Pym go to the President agreeing to be the ones to enforce the SHRA with Stark being put in charge.

Captain America tells everyone who supports the SHRA to kick rocks and becomes a wanted fugitive. Stark becomes a total gestapo-esque douchebag using SHIELD and other pro-SHRA heroes to hunt and round up Cap's crew of anti-SHRA heroes.

Stark and his gang become total a$$holes in the course of this storyline. They build a prison in the Negative Zone where they lock up heroes who won't register. They round up folks like the Nazis did using SHIELD agents as their own personal SS. They build a clone/robot hybrid of Thor (because he was off-planeet during this whole thing) to use aganist Cap and his crew that ends up killing the black Giant Man. Stark put together a new Thunderbolts team to hunt the anti-SHRA heroes that consists of people like Bullseye, Lady Deathstrike and Venom.

Finally Captain America and his team was poised to defeat Stark and his crew but Cap surrendered instead because he finally saw the toll this infighting was talking on the super-hero community and the US populace. While in custody Cap was shot and "killed".

A Civil War variation makes a hell of a lot more sense that Thanos. Cap is clearly being pushed as a much bigger character than he was in Phase 1. Stark was in front of everyone on the posters for the first film, now he's side by side with Captain America specifically in this one. Government have been dogging them in the two movies that effect this one the most, saying that "they're dangerous" and "cant be trusted", Cap then destroys Shield and now Stark will create Ultron for The Avengers who will run amok across the world :comeon:

The Civil War(Iron Man vs Captain America) is coming :ahh::banderas:and so is the registration act :birdman:.

:sas1: They've been building up to it since the first Avengers movie.

Cats still thinking that Mutants, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, secret identities, etc are required:mjlol: this is Captain America vs Iron Man that's all you need.Tony's gonna go after The Winter soldier who will take Spider-Man's role and make the story even more personal. :wow:

yea honestly i don't give a shyt what the original civil war storyline was about, this got nothing to do with that.

if they find a way to make it about something more socially and politically relevant, like they showed in cap 2, then this movie is gonna be fukkin insane.

my only fear is that BvS and cap 3 end up being the same exact movie. 2 heroes on opposite sides of justice going at each other's throats.

Never thought about that last part you're right. And they already set up the seeds for this in Cap 2 with Black Widow being at the senate hearing. Although the Civil War arc itself was and still is relevant to the times. It was a reaction to 9/11 just like Cap 2 is
