Wait is spider man confirmed for civil war?

I got a feeling he's not going to be included yet considering the Spiderman they're remaking has him still as a high school kid. They might cameo his character in some fashion, but I don't think Spiderman's gonna make a full on appearance. In a way, that would kinda overshadow the whole movie being it would be his 1st official "Marvel Universe" appearance. Hopefully Im wrong though.

Where was it confirmed?

When the sony deal was first announced it was revealed Spidey's first MCU appearance will be in Cap 3 followed by his "Solo" movie in 2017

The only reason Spidey wasn't in the cast announcements yesterday is because they still haven't casted him yet. Probably won't be revealed until comic con.(Although all signs points to Asa Butterfield being our new Spidey)

Widow and Warmachine are gonna side with Iron Man while Falcon and Scarlett are gonna side with Cap. Spidey is neutral and just wants to help the civilians.

Yeah, no brainer about Falcon being with Cap and Rhoddy being with Stark. If Captain Marvel is introduced before that drops, then she'll most likely be on Ironman's side too. If they include the Netflix series heroes into it, then I'm sure all the Defenders are going to be on Cap's side (shyt, they essentially were in the books too). I definitely hope spidey is in it, as he'd be that one that plays both sides. BP will be neutral I'm sure.

The netflix heroes i don't think are showing up until infinity wars.

By the time Cap 3 is out only Daredevil and Jessica Jones will be established anyway.

It's a good/bad thing for me with them writing the story to Avengers 3.

TWS was so damn good because it was a actual engrossing story that just happened to feature superheroes. All the other marvel movies are just standard superhero flicks.

Im not sure the russos can craft a story that good with over 30+ heroes they have to work with. Who gets the spotlight? Who gets shafted??


Now the good thing is Cap 3 is basically avengers 2.5. I mean there's more superheroes in this movie then AoU. So at the very least the russos get to learn with Civil War how to handle a cast this big.

Say what you want about Whedon but he 100% nailed the "Team" aspect of Avengers. The russo's haven't shown me they can do that yet.

Like lets be real here. 3 years away from part 1 and we already know the movie at the very least consists of

Then you have the rumors of the netflix "defenders" being in it along with whoever else they reveal in the next 3 years.


That's ALOT to work with when they have no experience at all with a HUGE ensemble.
