And I bet this is another reason Sony and Marvel are having preliminary discussions about bringing Spidey into the fold somehow because doing the civil war arc without him? I guess it could work but it wouldn't have the same kick
That's what I was thinking this does add fuel to the rumors of them working together.

RDJ is caked up regardless, I'm :what: at people saying one movie of his flopping would make him reconsider some shyt he wouldn't want to do. People act like he's one flop from working at McDonalds or some shyt.

If he really didn't want to do this, he wouldn't. He's always said he don't mind playing Ironman in other Marvel movies, and he never said 100% he'd never do "Ironman". He was talking about "maybe" before "The Judge" even came out.

And it's not a coincidence that the "maybe" just happened to turn into a "yes" after the poor performance of The Judge.

Thats all i'm saying:manny:

Spidey's part in that could be cut out and it wouldn't change the story. Reed and Tony were the evil dudes in that shyt

Well breh apparently Marvel disagrees:

Apparently it wasn't maybe but he did want to get himself a bigger pay date..obviously we don't know when this happened and when they started talking but the variety article does mention that Downey wants to remain a part of this team for as long as he can so that he can continue to build on a fan base in hopes that they come see his other movies that aren't Marvel

It's possible but dude is rich regardless, so it doesn't seem likely. He ain't even got paid for "Avengers 3" yet. Hell, he just got paid for 2. Dude is set no matter what.
