Mackie is a weird one. On one hand he'll dikk ride marvel/disney and make comments like the seabiscuit thing, but on the other hand when it comes to entertaining the idea of his own solo, not an opportunistic bone in his body and, of all the excuses, he'll rationale that Evans would no longer be available if he had a solo and loves working with him too much... even though your dumbass came into the MCU as part of Evan's own solo movies... so why wouldn't he be able to appear in yours but you continue to be in his?

Sounds like you're just caping for him and throwing around fanboy accusations. He can just keep it as "nah, i'm not interested. i think falcon just works best as a supporting character" without acting like solo movies prevent you from working with actors that you like when that clearly isn't the case.
Nah I'm not caping for him at all, just thinking about how much interviewers hound you for answers on shyt and how sometimes a simple "Nah I'm not interested" isn't good enough. Shyt, I've been that person interviewing someone and the first answer they give me isn't "good enough" because I need a hook or need something juicier
