Big Captain America: Civil War Spoiler Rumor

Spoiler warning!
Do not take this spoiler warning lightly!

The Youtube channel, The Hashtag Show, claims that they have been provided with information on Marvel's Captain America: Civil War from a "source close to production."

"The movie begins with a funeral scene and it ends with a funeral scene," says The Hashtag Show. They then confirm that the opening funeral is for Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell). Photos and videos leaked out in May indicating that Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp) would be attending Peggy's funeral at some point in the film.

Onto to the next funeral! "Captain America: Civil War will end with the funeral scene for Captain America himself: Steve Rogers," they share. "During the film, Steve will make a deal with the government, stating that they are not to hunt down the people that allied with him in the Civil War. After Steve surrenders and is taken into custody he is killed."

"Cap's death is left a little ambiguous as to whether this was all planned out or not," they add. Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) will be very upset at Steve's funeral and the mood will be rather somber.

Even though Steve is dead, Captain America may not be. They say there is a scene in which three characters: Sharon, Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie) each pick up Cap's shield. In the comics, the latter two have taken on Captain America's mantle.

End your own trilogy by dying brehs. Doubt it but that would be ballsy.

Its HIGHLY doubtful they'd kill Steve Rogers off before Infinity War, also highly doubtful they'd leave it "ambiguous" as whose to follow in his footsteps. It won't be Sharon, a character whose just barely being introduced within the MCU, and not Sam, as i can GUARANTEE you they will never allow more than one headlining black character, and that slot is being set up for Black Panther. That only leaves Bucky and having Bucky become Captain America ONE film after being a brainwashed tyrannical murderer is probably too soon.

As far as him dying....t's kinda feasible if you look at what we know and/or the rumors about "The Infinity War". The OG Avengers are supposed to come back in part 2....meaning most of the core group probably won't be in part 1. And if Cap is dead from "Civil War" to part 2....that would be epic. And the gems would be around by that point, to bring him back to life.

One thing people are missing from that spoiler is:

That they said it's ambiguous as to whether it was planned. So it could be a fake death like with what Nick Fury did. Maybe he does it to make a point and then quits. I can believe something like that.

But that passing of the torch thing is nonsense. Someone else temporarily using the shield I can buy, but becoming Captain America? FOH

We've previously seen two of these fantastic promotional artwork pieces in a much lower quality, but now they have resurfaced with a cleaner look at both Iron Man and Captain America's respective teams, and also two new pieces with Falcon and Black Panther. Check it out!

You can expect more promotion for Captain America: Civil War than your body can handle as we move into the New Year and closer to its hotly-anticipated summer release date. In the meantime you can get the latest look at the Marvel threequel through the more promotional artwork. Though they were seen previously in low-quality, the two images showcasing “Team Cap” and “Team Stark” have reemerged in a much greater quality, albeit still with Hablemos de Marvel’s watermark. Furthermore, a third piece of new Captain America: Civil War promo art shows the Black Panther leaping into action while a fourth sees The Falcon and the Vision taking flight.

As shown in the Captain America: Civil War promo art below, “Team Cap” consists of Ant-Man, Agent 13, the Falcon (with his robot redwing), Hawkeye, and the Winter Soldier. Notably missing is The Scarlet Witch, who we’ve seen siding with the titular Super Soldier in the teaser trailer. Rumor has it, Marvel Studios and 20th Century Fox’s shared rights of the character (and Quicksilver) supposedly prevents the former studio from using the superheroine in any licensed merchandise. Nonetheless, “Team Stark” has Black Widow, the Vision, War Machine, and Black Panther, even though it’s been said the future king of Wakanda will be neutral in the battle. What do you think?

Directed by Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain. Starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Martin Freeman, Captain America: Civil War is set for release on May 6, 2016.
