A "Justice League" movie was planned as early as '07....with nothing leading up to it.

A shared universe was never even on DC's mind. They let Nolan run one of their biggest characters for 7 years. He let them know from jump he wasn't interested in cross overs.

Meanwhile, Marvel dropped "Ironman", whose failure could've ended the entire MCU. It blew up, which lead to Phase 1, and "The Avengers".

After Nolan bounced, and Marvel made it clear a shared universe could work, then DC started building their shyt.

I don't think anybody in their right mind would argue DC doesn't wish they started their cinematic universe when Marvel did. They have such a strong track record D-tier characters like Guardians Of The Galaxy and Ant-Man are successes.

Point Break came out in the early 90s. Fast and Furious is Point Break with cars instead of extreme sports. That's how it initially started and they have gone on to add other elements to the series and make it their own. People still enjoy the original Point Break but nobody is going to check for the remake.

My point is that first does not always mean better. Plus DC has their own style anyway. Snyder has his own vision, Affleck has his own vision, Ayer has his own vision. These movies are going to be much different than Marvel. Some will say they are better, some will say Marvel is better. Either way they will both see box office success. Too much time is spent on this idiotic debate. As I said before, most people in here will watch BOTH.

Superman can bench press the Earth n shyt, so yeah that fight is cooked. But if Cap can hang in fights with Thanos n Hulk, among others, than Batman gets the hands

I'm talking about, dude said DC will not catch up to Marvel, because they have a 13 movie head start. And that's a fact. First does mean better in this case if the objective is building a cinematic universe. DC is just starting theirs when Marvel is on their 3rd, heading into 4th Phase.

Why does it matter if DC is just starting theirs? What does that have to do with whether the DC movies will be quality or not? They aren't "rushing it" because Batman is already established in their universe, there is no need to do origin film after origin film. Everyone knows who Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman are.

It doesn't matter but if you want to compare the two you have to say they are behind. Marvel's is up and running their's isn't. Yes, it most likely will be a success and hopefully it is as good or better than Marvel. But right now there is no comparison they are hoping to be like Marvel is currently.

Wrong, JL Mortal was going to kick off the shared universe shyt with DC. Everyone in the movie was going to get a spin off film but the movie ran into pre-production problems and was never made. They tried again with Green Lantern but GL flopped so now they're trying again
