without spoilers, is this movie actually bad or is it a bunch of rage over Mackie being Captain America?
It is about as good as black widow. Shang chi is better or equal to this. It is as uninspired as black widow with cgi worse than quantumania.
The only mcu movies it is better than is Marvels, maybe thor 2, maybe black widow, and captain marvel but i really fukkin hate captain marvel.

I'm sorry, i'm just a schmuck on the internet and i'm monday morning QBing, and speculating on something that hasn't even come out, but... why couldn't they make Cap 4 and Thunderbolts the same movie? 2 ground level movies with a bunch of B teamers. Captain America: Thunderbolts. wipe your hands. make a 2.5 hour beast of a movie. you basically make Civil War 2, the pre-Vengers movie of phase 3, and you knock 2 movies off the slate to just focus on a good one. here, ill write a shytty fanfic with zero thought in 5 minutes:

- Ross tells Val he needs a new Avengers team to extract adamantium from Tiamut before world powers get it. She says, "this is the best we can do." Enter the Thunderbolts... fukkin named for Thunderbolt Ross. "We need Captain America." "Nah, he hates you, he won't do it, i got Barnes insteads."
- Thunderbolts fight at Tiamut. Someone dies. "We need more help." enter Sentry.
-You still have Leader doing his bootleg Zemo thing in the background. he still gets placed into the plot from time to time doing evil shyt. he's brainwashing Ross and Val, etc,
-Ross hulks out to fight Sentry after he starts his shyt.
-Ross dies.
-enter Captain America, who is now there to change the strategy. Reunites with Bucky. Crowd goes wild.
-Rest of movie is Mackie and crew fighting Sentry. sets up new Avengers. Taskmaster or someone flips, they're on Leader's side. big battle. Red Guardian dies, says it was an honor to fight beside Captain America. Void shyt, etc. whatever.
-movie ends, title card up, Captain America: Thunderbolts* becomes "*New Avengers."
-Mackie proves to be a worthy leader. they get adamantium. "we're gonna need more help." they hint at recruiting the rest of em.
Mid credit - quick shots of the new teammembers beind called/recruited/etc - hey it's Strange. hey it's Shang-chi, remember him. Hey look, lameass Falcon 2 gets the call from Sam. hey it's 12 pound Shuri making new tech for the team, etc.
Post credit - "doom"

For superhero movies you don’t want less than a B+… for a horror film this is good
Ross was behind the Sokovia Accords, and when Sam went with Cap, he locked them up, then was on their asses for 2+ years after they escaped...as they were rogue vigilantes. That's the history they're speaking of.The acting was good but the story was
The best part is Red Hulk’s rampage. Like you really see and feel how strong and dangerous a Hulk is
But the movie is VERY rushed. Like somethings just happen with ZERO build up.
What they did with the Leader was also
He has the power to create gamma super soldiers but uses regular men?
Another problem is that the script/story was CLEARLY a sequel story to the Incredible Hulk that they just ported on to a Captain America movie. You can see how it would have made more sense if the main character was Bruce Banner and not Falcon. You could tell especially when they kept saying Ross and Falcon had this long history which is clearly meant to be Ross/Banner.

So these guys reviewed all the MCU movies especially the ones post endgame and they gave this the lowest score? Then that site isn’t credible
feels good to be kinda obsessed with a bad marvel movie again. i lost my juice lately. this one got me going again.
i remember when this was in production there were rumors Hulk would be in it, and i guarantee someone stepped in and said, "if we include Hulk, it won't be Sam Wilson's movie..." this wasn't Sam Wilson's friggin movie, should have included the Hulk, b/c how the fukk was the Hulk not in this movie? they treated Bruce Banner like Sony treats Peter Parker. they did Hulk world minus Hulk.

I'm still on one after Madame Web. That shyt fed the streets for a LONG time. It's still crazy to me how bad that was
It's crazy how much better of a movie this is. Props. You can even have the master be the reason sentry gets all voidy

i actually thought that was the most nothing movie ever made. it was just bad on every level of filmmaking. i never even got the "so bad it's good" feeling from it. it's a disaster of the highest level.
