Lol it actually came to mind yesterday/was about to ask: for those who already got to see the film does Sam have a love interest? Who is the top billed female in the movie?

Just realized that of all the discourse about the film, i haven't seen/noticed this be mentioned.

Long review. And some spoilers.

Wow I’m shocked. This is my favorite marvel movie in what seems like a long time. I thought it would just be okay but I like this a lot. I don’t really have much negative to say

Before the film really got into the main plot, I was almost ready to write it off but they brought it all together quick. And once it got going, it didn’t disappoint. The plot was well done for me.

I like how they tied in the past but progressed the story and brought it to the present. Glad they finally addressed the Celestial. And I like what they did with it. I don’t mind the celestial introducing adamantium. I liked how its presence turned the story into a political one.

The build up to the red hulk was perfect and the first moments in which we were finally going to be introduced to him was probably my favorite scene. Harrison Ford did his thing. I thought he would mail it in but he really sold the character.

Again, I’m shocked

I like how they didn’t do the typical 3rd act with a hero villain fight. The Leaders incorporation made sense and didn’t feel forced at all. This story was told really well to me. It’s not The Winter Soldier or Civil War but it was a nice break from Marvels usual formula. The only thing I would say I could have an issue with and it has to do with the previous films too is that I wish they would dive deeper on certain things. For example, with Isaiah’s background, there could’ve been a lot more interesting conversation between he and Sam and his relationship with Thunderbolt Ross. I kind’ve wish the story would’ve taken a turn that would highlight the tragedy of Isaiah’s past. It would’ve made for a great twist plot point imo. But that’s just a nitpick. Also I personally want to know more about the journey from Thunderbolt Ross to President, the Leader, and so forth. I would like to dive deeper into those things but I know they wouldn’t. But other than that, I only have one big problem. The ending with the Red Hulk. They basically did the same **** with Natasha and the Hulk. They kind’ve set themselves up with that seeing how it’s the Falcon fighting a Hulk. I’ll forgive em. Another small issue would be the sidekick. Didn’t need to be there. I’d rather see more of the Widow chick. The Leader looked terrible. Again, small but it kind’ve took me out the film every time I saw him.

Also, Mackie did his thing but I think putting him against Giancarlo and Ford highlights the issue I have with him as a main star. He doesn’t have the presence they have. As soon as Giancarlo came on screen, he was dominant in their interactions. Mackie is an okay actor but GianCarlo stole the show every time he was there. He and Ford both show that there’s levels to it

All in all, this hooks me back in to the MCU and I’m excited to see how they progress things.

A pointless one

The Leader is locked up on The Raft and Sam Wilson goes to visit him.

The Leader tells him that there's a high statistical probability that there's a multiversal threat coming and that he and the other heroes should be prepared.
 that's near every after credit scene.. incredibly lazy writing

The top billed woman in BNW is Shira Haas (who plays Ruth, an Israeli Black Widow).

NOTE: I haven't seen the film but just going based on posters and general info.

Ever? I highly doubt that lol.
This shyt ain't even as good as Thor 2

There's A LOT of bad acting in this movie.

Poorly delivered lines, stiff acting, and BAD editing, PERIOD.

This movie literally feels like 3 or 4 different movies spliced together really bad. It definitely looks and feels like the screeners destroyed this or what it could have been.

It wants to be The Winter Soldier but it's clearly not. It wants to be Iron Man but Mackie lacks the charisma of RDJ as Tony Stark. It wants to be Black Panther but it doesn't feel like a "Black" movie. It wants to be a Hulk movie but TBH, we got ONE decent Hulk movie and Edward Norton got pulled so our Hulk has largely been a nerfed simp for the past decade.

I just want to move on to Daredevil and Thunderbolts.

Those will cleanse the palate and prep us for Fantastic Four.
