It’s not. Because money is worth less over time. You used to be able to get a Mcdonald’s cheeseburger for 25 cent. Today it cost $3.

If u invested that 25c back then and pull it out now, you no longer can afford a cheeseburger.

It’s the same for devs the $60 games cost today is much less value than it was in 1995.
