Tyler Perry was a HORRIBLE choice for Alex Cross. The ONLY reason they picked him was so that all of his African American female fan base might be suckered into seeing it thinking its "Madea Goes To The Police Academy" or some shyt
Just shows you how thin the black talent pool currently is in Hollywood. No way he would've landed this role ten years ago.
The commercial for this turned me off to this immediately. I just can't imagine Tyler as Alex Cross. But like dude said he is a decent actor in certain roles (and not that Madea shyt). Just don't think this part fits him, but hope i am wrong.
