As for battle rapping being passe in 2012: the shyt they do in the studio is WWF. Battle rap is MMA. If it ever dies then so has the very essence of MCing.. Not that mainstream Rap in 2012 has any connection to the elements (that would be crazy to build on, respect, or even know the history), just that the real shyt is still underground somewhere - and I pray for it's longevity
