I can no longer respect a man who will, in retrospect, sacrifice themselves and everything that they've worked for up until this point (regardless if you're in the camp of saying that he underachieved to begin with) for a quick check.

I don't know how to put this but:

You know looking back at this clusterfukk called a battle, it struck me that maybe Canibus was attempting a little bit of showmanship.

You know with the swaying backwards and forwards,arm in a sling (shout out to Cowboy Bob Orton) the odd pauses, the maniacal grinning, all he was missing was spandex and a championship belt.

It was almost like he was trying to ape the mannerism's of this guy:

I finally watched the entire battle and it ceased being sad and turned fukking hilarious by the 2nd round. Canibus was spitting perhaps the worst punchlines in battle rap history. J-Dubb and Marv-O would've voted for Eli over this nikka. He's talking about the other dude "eating mosquitoes, flies, and spiders" even hit him with the Michael Jackson Mamase Mamasa Mamakusa. I have tears in my eyes from shock and awe at the combination of his pauses, horrible lines, and facial expressions. This shyt looks like an In Living Color skit.

Son said "I put a tattoo of you on Treach right next to 2Pac" and one dude in the crowd looked mad confused. shyt didn't rhyme with anything, then he just paused for a full 45 seconds rocking back and forth with his arm in that damn sling and those blublockers on, flashing his teeth like a rabid squirrel. This shyt is unfukkingbelievable.

This nikka just ended the video by forcing the soundman to turn his mic back on after it had been cut off, aggressively mugging the crowd and screaming "AYO! I just wanted to say to everybody... yo man! I really wanted to come out here and do way better than that!"

that battle was memorable yet forgetful at the same time.
