Yeah, both sides say they are still negotiating. I can see the tactic from Canelo's side. If GGG said fukk negotiations he could force a purse bid and Canelo would have to let GGG fight at 160. This allows Canelo to heavily use weight as a negotiating tool.
GGG has apparently said he would take less than the 70/30, which is the purse bid.

Really this fight comes down to if Canelo wants to make it or not.
