Im just saying, if GGG is willingly able & ready to take off 6lbs to face Mayweather at 154...why not take off 5 lbs and face the biggest draw in the sport today, and make your career high payday?

the only thing that matters is that little g said he can make 154 easy now he refuses to 155. nothing more needs to be said. 155 is nothing new for canelo. he been doing it for a while. it's not like he just made this shyt up for golovkin. if little g really wants it he can come down to canelo weight and get that work. he should be grateful canelo is even giving him that 1 lb. this is the same guy who demanded a catchweight for andre ward but now we're supposed to feel sorry for him:mjlol:

Andre Ward To Mayweather: I'll Go 160 To Fight You!

By Edward Chaykovsky

The war of words has ended with a challenge. On Wednesday, WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (43-0, 26KOs) lashed out at WBA/WBC super middleweight king Andre Ward (26-0, 14KOs). He took shots at Ward's ticket selling abilities. Ward's manager, James Prince, who used to manage Mayweather years ago, fired several verbal shots right back at Mayweather .

But now Ward himself has come out in the public and challenged Mayweather to a catch-weight fight at 160-pounds. Mayweather has never fought higher than 154, but Ward is willing to drain his body to head eight pounds south. Mayweather defends his title against Ward's close friend, Robert Guerrero, on May 4th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Ward stated on the social networks - "Lil Floyd says he spars middleweights. He is the only man I will sacrifice coming to 160 for. He won't take that bait!!!"

You didn't include the reasoning behind it though....Floyd was talking MAJOR trash about SOG out of nowhere (SOG never went at GGG until GGG called him out as well...there's a pattern here:mjpls:), so SOG wanted to settle it in the ring.

He said himself that it was bait in the article you posted, which means it isn't real, so  breh. GGG is dead serious about fighting Floyd at 154 and fighting Froch at 172, but fighting Canelo at 155 or SOG at 168 is :whoa:

I think we have to be a bit more "objective" when we use the narrative of GGG saying he'll come down to 154 for Floyd but unwilling to drop weight for Canelo. I say that because Floyd is an ATG and a hypothetical fight with him and GGG would ONLY have taken place at 154 so you damn right anybody who's at 160 and people came to you about fighting Floyd will say the same thing (fighting him at 154). shyt I bet there are dudes who's 168 who'd kill themselves to make 154 for Floyd and that $$$ :heh:.

The thing I think team GGG is trying to get across to Canelo is that they don't respect homie enough to concede to Caneloweight (i'm obviously stating the obvious or this fight would have been happened) and want the full middleweight policy instituted. I don't know if they said that they CAN'T make 155 or they're crutch is they won't make it for a dude who's using that as a power play more than anything else.

To wrap it all up because I know I've been too long with it..... think we all feel as though it should be held at 160, BUT I do think Sanchez/Loeffler/Golovkin have talked themselves out of the fight with all that b/s they've said in PUBLIC about not budging and stuff not realizing (or have yet to accept) that Canelo is in a better position to drop the belt and move on. Why? He's obviously the better draw, he's younger, and he has more comp that he can scrap with than Mr. "I'm not budging from this :flabbynsick: division before I unify the division :beli: Golovkin. Just sign the damn fight for 155, rehydrate to 165ish and go "get your belt" or just shut the fukk up. You see Andre Ward has lost all respect for camp GGG after they tried to slander him in public last year but the real boxing heads say RIGHT through it.

Generico Euro lil G stays on that clown shyt...

Yall know i hate this catchweight bullshyt but when you say REPEATEDLY you can make 154 to try and get a fight with 147 pound dude you have no right whatsoever to complain about a MW asking for 155 pound catchweight...

Thr split should also be no less than 70/30 based off PPV numbers...or stay your ass on HBO after dark using Canelo 24/7s to up your tomato can crushing ratings...:mjlol:
I hate me some lil G hype BUT I see @Iron Chin Wilder and @LauderdaleBoss 's point. I'd like to see the fight happen as well, stop the p*ssyfooting, and just beat his ass Canelo.

I used to want him to but I'm starting to feel like he's running from the fight. GGG has said many times that he wants the fight. Muhfukka went as far as saying that he wants his belt. But I can't remember Canelo just flat out saying that he wants the fight. There's always a stipulation.

Nelo 25 years old and Oscar's only golden ticket....be prepared for Nelo to ignore GGG. If Oscar is smart, and Nelo is mentally tough to ignore the clutter, he'd stall this fight out til May '18. Microwave generation just have to wait...took forever for SRL vs Hagler, took forever for Tyson vs Holyfield, and took forever for May vs Pac. If this is a super fight that they claim it is, might as well grab a seat cause we're gonna be here for a while.

Yes. Canelo can make 160 and the fight should be at 160. However, this is boxing and there's A and B. Canelo is the A. He's the one with millions of PPV sold. He sold over 10 times the amount 97g sold. He has the better resume, the larger fanbase, and he's the biggest draw right now.

Floyd conceded for Oscar, Canelo conceded for Floyd, Manny conceded for Floyd, Cotto conceded for Manny, Oscar conceded for Manny, Timmy conceded for Manny. There are other examples I could give but I m just going on recent events.

So why can't 97g concede for Nelo while he has a terrible resume, and could not even crack 100k on PPV ?

Furthertmore, his team said anybody from 154-160 could get it. They wanted Floyd at 154. I understand the reason is money and notoriety because Floyd was the #1 draw and a cashcow. Now, Nelo is the #1 draw and the cashcow, plus he wants the fight at 155.

Don't spam that MW bs either because the WBC president already said anything above 154 is middleweight.

HBO is a shyt network and that's why I just can't stand them. There's no reason they cannot just get these two in the ring. It's clear cut and dry.

why would canelo NOT fight at 160 tho when that's his weight class, they both gonna rehydrate to about the same amount, so what is the point of Canelo fighting at 155, when he easily weighs way over 160 on fight night?Canelo is a Middleweight, I see no reason why he cant fight GGG at the proper weight of 160 when he will come to the ring over that anyways...I feel GGG, all these catch weights....fight at the proper weight. Meanwhile Canelo isn't fighting ANYONE in his weight class. fvck it tho....GGG and his team should call they bluff and say he will take the fight at 155 with no rehydration clause and see if they really wit the shxts.

So basically this is similar to Mayweather vs Pac with Mayweather literately saying he's ready to fight at anytime but Pac always coming up with excuses.:patrice: This fight will definitely be more entertaining than May/Pac and we all know why white people are so invested in this:mjpls:but I feel GGG would take Canelo if they did ever face off with one another.

Night of fight weights are irrelevant and UNNOFICIAL... ggg has to bow down and kiss the ring if he wants that fight
